Carlos Quest: Twistin’ Twist
¡Haz algo de ruido!
Step into the wild, messy, beer-fueled world of Theodore El Carlos, a washed-up Mexican wrestler turned TV host with a talent for chaos. After losing all his belongings to a mysterious thief known only as Invader, Carlos sets off on an insane quest to climb the Twistin’ Tower and take back what’s his — one smashed wall, one spilled drink, and one bad decision at a time.
🎭 Who is Carlos?

Once a quiet family man, now a loud, eccentric TV presenter on his own chaotic network, Carlos TV — motto: “Haz algo de ruido!” (Make some noise!). He’s immature, unpredictable, and maybe a bit too drunk for hero work… but when his stuff’s stolen, he’ll fight for it like a luchador possessed.
⚡ Gameplay
Inspired by Pizza Tower, Noise Big Break and Sonic the Hedgehog, Carlos Quest: Twistin’ Twist blends fast-paced 2D platforming, combo-chaining chaos, and cartoonish destruction. Run, roll, smash, and dive through colorful levels packed with enemies, traps, and absurd humor. Carlos’s drunken agility and unstable gadgets turn every stage into a slapstick action show.

🍺 Story

Cidade de Auriville — A Heartbeat of Brazilian Culture
Auriville is a bustling, colorful city located in the countryside of São Paulo, heavily inspired by Ourinhos. Known for its joyful community, weekend street fairs, local legends, and handcrafted art, the city’s identity is built on storytelling, music, comida típica, and the famous Festa das Lendas—a yearly festival celebrating the folklore of the region.
In Auriville, every neighborhood carries its own charm:
-
Vila das Padarias, home of Tommy and filled with bakeries, cafés, and the smell of pão francês at sunrise.
-
Feira da Harmonia, where artisans, musicians, and performers create a vibrant mosaic of Brazilian creativity every Saturday.
-
Alameda das Lendas, a mysterious street where myths and stories are said to “come alive” at night.
The people of Auriville always believed that creativity and culture itself had a spirit, a living essence connected to Brazilian folklore.
And they were right.
🎭 O Guardião das Lendas — A Forgotten Power
For centuries, the city was silently protected by the Guardião das Lendas, a mystical being created from the imagination of countless generations. Every song sung, every drawing made, every tale told by grandparents contributed to its existence.
The Guardião kept the balance between the real world and the world of Lendária, a parallel realm where Brazilian creativity, emotion, and folklore took physical form.
But recently, something terrible happened…
⚙️ The Rise of “O Padronizador” — Enemy of Culture
A corporation known as the Instituto da Perfeição Urbana (IPU) arrived in Auriville. Its leader, a secretive figure known only as O Padronizador, promised progress, modernization, and a “uniform future.”
Little by little, IPU began erasing what they called “messy cultural traditions”:
-
Street fairs were shut down.
-
Artisan stands disappeared.
-
festivals were canceled.
-
Paintings were removed from public walls.
-
Businesses were forced to follow strict aesthetics.
People began to forget the stories that defined the city. Folklore characters weakened… and the Guardião das Lendas was sealed away.
Every erased memory fed the IPU’s mysterious machine: A massive device known as the Ordem Absoluta, capable of rewriting imagination into sterile conformity.
🥖 Enter Carlos — The Last Spark
Carlos El Theodore (Theodore El Carlos) is a playful, energetic TV Network director who helps his community every morning. Known for being a drunk loan shark, but a nice guy.
When the IPU attempted to drain Auriville of it's culture, the fragment awakened.
🔥 The Quest Begins
With the Guardião sealed and Lendária collapsing, Carlos must:
-
Travel through corrupted districts of Auriville
-
Rescue weakened folklore spirits
-
Restore forgotten traditions
-
Break IPU’s barriers of conformity
-
Awaken the people’s lost creativity
-
And ultimately face O Padronizador, also known as Invader. —an entity whose true origin is tied to Lendária’s darkest secret.
Along the way, Carlos discovers:
-
Municipal legends that come to life
-
bosses twisted by “Order Energy”
-
Characters inspired by Brazilian humor, food, and culture, urban or not.
Can you rise up, amigo? Or will you just… twist and fall?
🎙️ "You know what to do."
🎮 Gameplay: Fast, Loud, and Slightly Drunk!
Welcome to the beautiful disaster that is Carlos Quest: Twistin’ Twist — where running, smashing, and yelling “¡Haz algo de ruido!” is a valid combat strategy!
You play as Theodore El Carlos, a washed-up luchador and TV host who solves all his problems by going way too fast and punching through walls. Slide, dive, shoulder bash, and crash your way through chaos as you hunt down the mysterious Invader who stole your stuff (and maybe your pride).
This ain’t your grandma’s platformer — it’s pure momentum madness!
-
Dash, roll, and combo your way across colorful, cartoonish worlds.
-
Smash everything in sight for points, pride, and possibly beer.
-
Keep your flow going — the faster you move, the crazier the action gets!
-
Bust through walls, enemies, and logic with wild animations and sound effects that make your screen scream.
Every move Carlos makes has weight, energy, and a little bit of chaos. The camera shakes, the walls crumble, and the music goes full mariachi madness while you try to not fall on your face.
It’s fast. It’s loud. It’s unstable. Just like Carlos himself. 🍺
Based on Noise's Big Break and Sonic!
🎨 Visual and Animation Style
The game adopts a 2D pixel art style with expressive character animations, strong poses, and rapid frame transitions. Carlos’s movements are punchy and exaggerated, with each attack and action supported by overshoot frames and smears — reminiscent of classic 1990s cartoon animation.
The environments, while still early in development, convey vibrant color palettes and layered parallax backgrounds, contributing to the sense of depth and speed.
